My phone switched back to another keyboard
Android sometimes falls back to the previous keyboard after an app update or after the app is stopped. Open Flikzi and tap Choose next to Make it your keyboard, or pick Flikzi from the keyboard switcher.
There are no suggestions
- Password, email, web address and some search fields ask keyboards not to show suggestions, and Flikzi respects that. Try a messaging app.
- Check that Suggestions is on: Flikzi, Typing, Suggestions.
- In Chinese mode the strip shows pinyin candidates instead. Flick the left space key up to go back to English.
Autocorrect changed a word I wanted
Swipe left straight after the correction to undo it; Flikzi won’t correct that word again. To stop corrections entirely, turn off Autocorrect.
I keep deleting a word by accident
A quick sideways swipe across a letter deletes (left) or restores (right) a word. If it happens by accident, swipe right straight away to bring it back, and try tapping with less sideways movement.
The keys are too small or too big
Open Flikzi, Keyboard, Key height.
The keyboard doesn’t split on my foldable
Check Split keyboard is set to Auto or Always. Auto splits only when the screen is at least 600 dp wide.
